About Advaita 2010 :

Advaita, the annual techno-management fest of GIET, Gunupur has come a long way since its inception in the year 2005 in becoming one of the largest fest of its kind in the whole of eastern India. Year after year Advaita has acquired an astute following of fans, tracing paths across urban streets to humble village canals. It has been our earnest endeavor to provide a platform to numerous talented students across the world to exhibit their scientific dexterity and managerial acumen and spread the fire within the youth by uniting young minds from various colleges under the banner of science, technology and management. This year the theme being “Save our planet” is very much justified by the very location of the college, Gunupur which is surrounded by astounding aesthetic scenery with the minimum agents to tamper mother earth. With Global Warming being the prime reason of concern, the cause has given us slow but tremendous blows in the form of melting glaciers to the transformation of dormant volcanoes to active. We, through our fest, have taken a step forward in undertaking the daunting task of imbibing a feeling of renaissance in the mind of the youth brigade. This is because of the fact that the youth hold the power to change the course of any action. Our prime aim being uniting all the young minds to join hands and rise in unison to support this noble cause of “Saving our planet”. So this summer let us all pledge to get together with a motto to “GO GREEN” by being a part of this event.
