The Indira Gandhi Institute of Development Research (IGIDR) will be hosting its 12th Annual Conference on Money and Finance in the Indian Economy on 11-12 March 2010. Prof. Barry Eichengreen, Professor of Economics and Political Science, University of California, Berkeley will deliver the keynote address titled “The Dollar, the International Monetary System, and the Implications for Emerging Markets”. Submissions are invited for contributed papers on all theoretical and empirical aspects of monetary and financial economics. Papers on the following topics are particularly welcome:
- Collateral Benefits of Capital Account Liberalization
- Agricultural Credit Delivery System in India
- Financial Sector Reform: Institutional and Legal Aspects
- Inflationary Potential of Fiscal Stimuli
