Avalanche’10 is a national level Pharma carnival organized by the students of Ramanbhai Patel College of Pharmacy, Education Campus Changa to be held during 5^th and 6^th February, 2010 at Anand, Gujarat.

About the Institute

Ramanbhai Patel college of Pharmacy is patronized by Mr. Pankajbhai Patel, Chairman and M.D, Zydus Cadila.
The institute is an integral part of Education Campus Changa “The Eden of Education”, which is an ISO 9001:2000 certified campus.
The college accommodates P.C.I approved B. Pharm and M. Pharm programs. The institute is a part of CHARUSAT which has been granted its “DEEMED UNIVERSITY” status in 2009.

Objectives of Avalanche’10

To provide a platform for the students of various pharmacy colleges of the nation to display and promote their talents.
To organize an educational carnival to raise the levels of acumen and intelligence of the people related to the field of Pharmacy.
Moreover the objective is to increase the awareness of the community about the field of Pharmacy.

Pharma tooling: Machine designing

All innovation begins with creative ideas . . . We define innovation as the successful implementation of creative ideas within an organization. So, all the innovators of India Gather your teams and plunge into the mind racking battle of Machine designing to create a difference!! Students will get a chance to present their innovative models  and bring out their talent!!

The Benevolence: Pharma Marketing

Enter into the exquisite world of Pharma industry with your product and conquer the qualms of marketing with your USP. Its time you make your Product sell!!! The participants have to present an innovative brand and devise a marketing plan for the given categories of drugs. (Including SWOT analysis, and marketing strategies). Presenteeism: A National level Poster presentation competition

All the young budding pharmacists, gear up for burst of scientific knowledge with your posters and presentation skills!! The Unveiling Pirates: Pharma treasure hunt

All the adventure lovers tighten your seat belts for the roller coaster ride of puzzles and clues. Crack the codes and venture towards the great Pharma treasure.

Word Cannonade: Crossword

All the crossword addicts will get a chance to exhibit their talent at a national level in the Word cannonade. The participants are to solve pharmacy based clues.

The Armament: Network gaming

Arrive at the world of Network gaming and fight the war of Survival and Speed. Reinstate your alliance to the Terrorists or their Nemesis and blaze your way to glory in Counter Strike. The stage is set for your hour of Glory.

Coltish Rainbow:  Painting

Artists are present everywhere…be in the field of pharmacy or computers. A great opportunity for our pharmacists to bring out their artistic skills and dip in the canvas of colours.

Reincarnation: Recycle

“To make Best out of waste” is the main agenda of this recycle event. The main purpose is to bring out the creativity of the students where the participants have to make something creative and innovative from the waste materials.

Workshop:

Includes a Workshop on Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and a special session on Aseptic Laboratory for final B.Pharm and M.Pharm students.The institute is proud to have a ‘state-of-art’ ASEPTIC LABORATORY which is one of its kind in the entire state. Students will be given an exposure to the working conditions in an aseptic laboratory as required in the industry.

There are limited entries only and entries are through first cum first basis. So, be the first one to gain the experience must required in the Pharma industry.

Cultural events:

To add excitement and cheer to the carnival, we are organizing cultural events on the evening of 5th Feb, 2010.A promising entertainment show comprising of dance, music, hilarious drama and fashion shows to bid adios to the contestants of the event.
