About AWAAZ 2010:

In the recent times, India has been in the limelight of global arena and has played a significant role in influencing global investments, market strategies and business alliances. India represents the world’s largest democracy and twelfth largest economy. On one hand, Indian democracy strives hard with its outdated laws, widespread corruption, religious pluralism, deep routed caste system, poor infrastructure, growing population and rising inflation. On the other hand, India is marching swiftly with its vibrant economic policies, increasing GDP, escalating annual growth rate, development in the high value sectors, large pool of vibrant human assets, rich culture and strong financial system.

At this point of time, it is very insightful to explore if the largest economy is going to march forward to become an economic superpower. We are glad to organize our second National level Symposium “AWAAZ 10” on March 13^th 2010, at our campus in Coimbatore based on this very topical issue “Can the world’s largest democracy become an economic super power”.
