SYMPOSIUM-2010
A Case Study Competition

Structure of the competition
1)    One day case study competition.
2)    Teams have to study, analyze and find a feasible solution for the given case.
3)    Judges will evaluate the solutions given by the students.
4)    Top 8 teams (out of those enrolled) selected by the judges have to make a PowerPoint presentation in front of the judges.
5)    Out of 8, 3 teams will qualify for prizes.
6)    Decision of the judges will be final.

Schedule of the Event
1)    Inauguration of the event (9.15 to 9.45 a.m.)
2)    Round 1 starts. Students have to study, analyze & give a solution for respective case study.  (10.00  to  12.30)
3)    Lunch break (12.30 to 2.30 p.m.)
4)    Announcement of result for round 1  (2.30 to 2.45)
5)    Round 2 starts. Selected teams have to prepare PowerPoint presentation for case & its solution. (2.45 to 3.30)
6)    Actual presentation in front of judges. (3.30 to 5.30)
7)    Declaration of final results & prize distribution.  (6.00 to 6:30)

Rules
-    Two members per team
-    Entry Fee Rs.150 Per team
-    Maximum two entries per college
-    Case study will be given on the spot
-    Each participant will be given certificate

Prizes
-    1st (Rs. 3000 + Certificate + Trophy)
-    2nd (Rs. 2000 + Certificate+ Memento)
-    3rd (Rs. 1000 + Certificate+ Memento)
