Chemozàle… What began as a spark of an idea in 1999 as an event for, by and of the students with the faculty playing torchbearers has intensified into a huge fiesta that plays host to students from prestigious Technical & Business schools pan-India. In 2009, Chemozàle in its 10th year saw mind boggling participation from over 100 top institutes – a few being IIM C, IIM A, IMT Ghaziabad, IIT B, IIT D.

Events like the paper presentation plaid our student’s elucidation potency whereas events like the poster presentation emphasized on ingenuity and resourcefulness. Chemo car racing was an event which had got several heart beats thumping erroneously, as our engineers raced their armored cars on mere chemicals. So, in this two-day journey, an excellent platform for communication and an exchange of ideas is, thus, established.

‘Zero Carbon footprint’, the first of its kind, where we’ll strive to mitigate the emission of CO₂ by planting of trees. Join us in this journey where we unravel the Einsteins, and Newtons of today, celebrating the hope and commitment for a GREENER tomorrow, where we aim to take this saga international. A highlight this time around ‘The Environtech-‘10(an exhibition)’, a rarity in itself, displays the upcoming technological advancements, and is all set to be a hit among the masses.

Highlights:
·Partnering with global organizations like 350.org and IYCN, the event shall have great workshops on ‘Climate Change’, ‘Carbon Footprints’, ‘COP – 15′ among others.
·It shall have an exhibition in collaboration with EnvironXChange.com to provide business and green job opportunities.
·This in addition to the usual plethora of quality events including Paper Presentations and Posters to preparing Jets and Cars and racing them along.
·Find yourself embroiled in the Entrepreneurial spirit with Business Plans, Ad Making and more.
·Enjoy Street Plays, attend movie screenings and photograph exhibits.
·And the biggest kicker: Being a Zero Carbon footprint Event, we’ll plant saplings to the tune equal to amount of carbon generated because of the event.
