About Confluence 2010 :
Confluence is the annual cultural fest of NIT Kurukshetra with over 50 events. It is a 4 day national level cultural extravaganza with more than 60 events from music and dramatics, literature , fine arts, photography and lots of informal events for fun.
Confluence is the annual Techno management festival of NIT Rourkela. The last edition of NITR’s technical festival, Confluence, was a huge success with a large number of events which attracted participants from all over India. The festival boasted of technical workshops and techno-management events which were designed to provide opportunities to participants to learn and be an intellectual experience. A seminar on present market and opportunities in the software sector was presented by Ms. Meher Afroz from Microsoft. Workshops on MAYA and aeromodelling were very successful and helped the participants gain knowledge and experience from leaders in the respective sectors.
Robotics events consisting of manual and automotive robots and certain water based robots drew participants and admirers in large numbers and provided an opportunity to students to try out innovative ideas in designing and building robots.
The management events like B-Plan and Brand Equity had everyone on their toes to grab the opportunity when it arrived to prove their managerial and marketing skills.
