About Incident 2010

INCIDENT is one of the premier college cultural festivals in India. It is a congregation of enthusiastic and talented individuals competing for the highest laurels in a multitude of cultural events on a national level. INCIDENT presents over 120 hours of uninterrupted, adrenaline pumping action for those whose primary purpose is to unwind from the rigors of a strenuous routine.
INCIDENT is the annual cultural festival of the National Institute of Technology Karnataka (NITK – former KREC). NITK is among the leading educational institutions of the nation. It boasts of an extensive, lush campus and is unique for its exclusive beach. With its sun-kissed shores and fine ambience, the beach is one of the prime locations on campus during INCIDENT.
This year, NITK presents the Golden Jubilee Edition of INCIDENT, with much vigor and splendor, exploring the mystiques of the Arabian Nights.

With a footfall of 30 000 and participation from over 150 institutions across the nation, INCIDENT 2010, Golden Edition, promises to be the hottest destination this February. With enormous prize money at stake and a passion to deliver the highest quality of events, Team INCIDENT ensures that every participant takes home a truly rejuvenating and memorable experience.
