About the  Fest :

LITERATI 2010 – the National Level Technical Extravaganza at NIT Kurukshetra tries to answer this problem with a bunch of fresh initiatives, entirely crafted from a social point of view. We see ourselves not only as a prominent technical institution in the country but also as an institution which the society by and large, looks up to, as a centre of excellence in its domain, and we long to live up to this image.

LITERATI 2010, a 3 day extravaganza, which is one of the biggest of its kind in North India, will feature a plethora of stimulating events, which would entertain maverick minds at work and at leisure. We also present a series of guest lectures by eminent personalities in the technical spectrum, making LITERATI 2010 a wholesome place for a learning, tech-savvy and fun loving audience.

Apart from fostering healthy competitive spirit, we would not forget our social responsibility as literate, young individuals. The initiatives taken during LITERATI 2010 would try to put into effect this thought — The NITK Director’s Trophy, a rolling trophy for the schools in and around Haryana, The Red Bike Concept, a simple but efficient attempt at reducing the pollution levels in the campus, and the Energy Conservation Competition among the hostels are the initiatives that could make a difference, however small, in our perspectives on what we can do, and not on what we cannot. Also worth looking forward to are the online events, exhibitions, the informals, and a lot more on-the-spot stuff.

LITERATI 2010 takes you on a ride full of new explorations, new applications of technology and most of all, new ideas.
