About MindSpark 2010
Inspiration is the driving force behind every success. A small spark has the potential to transform into a blazing fire. Inspiration is like that spark of fire that enkindles in us the burning zeal to confront new challenges and open up new vistas in our quest to establish ourselves as stalwarts of success.
Fire, an accidental discovery, has been igniting the fuel necessary to turn the wheels of progress over the ages. MindSpark is an attempt to keep this fire alive, sparking into creation a unique mélange of thoughts that will fuel our foray into the depths of the undiscovered, to invent and better the already discovered, and attain rarified horizons of intellect.
MindSpark, now in its fourth successive year is the brainchild of the students of College of Engineering, Pune. MindSpark encourages the generation of new thoughts and helps these thoughts find expression. MindSpark provides an arena for the best engineering minds from all over the country to bring to life their innovative ideas.
Technological advancement has often been deterred by the fear of depletion of resources on planet Earth. This foreseen situation has necessitated the practical implication of the doctrine of sustainable development. As we inherit the legacy of MindSpark, we take up the responsibility of providing a new facet to technology, which safeguards the interest of our future generations.
MindSpark, over the past three years has witnessed immensely enthusiastic participation, growing interest, incorporation of new challenging events and substantial prize money. MindSpark ’10 targets a participation of over 15,000, embellishing it as one of the most coveted technical festivals in the country. Along with an increase in events and participation, MindSpark ’10 promises increased benefit to our participants and as well as our sponsors.
