MINERVA-EXCELLENCE, ECSTASY AND BEYOND…

Minerva was the Roman Goddess whom Hellenizing Romans from second century BC onwards equated with the Greek Goddess Athena. She was the virgin Goddess of warriors, poetry, medicine, wisdom, commerce, weaving, crafts, magic and the inventor of music. She is depicted with an owl, her sacred creature and through this connection a symbol of wisdom. MINERVA is the annual techno-cultural symposium organized by R.I.E.I.T., Railmajra. With a plethora of events and activities, MINERVA offered a unique platform to young technocrats to test their techno-cultural skills.
We have been creating waves since last Nov 2005. This time, with new and innovative ideas, we wish to transform the image of our techfest not only on the surface of it but also in the depth. With our dedicated efforts, we affirm you a new reloaded MINERVA.

Grabbing the opportunity, this year, we have been privileged to host the 12th Annual ISTE Students Convention in our college in the honourable presence of Prof. Ranjit Singh, Executive secretary and Programme Director, Indian Society of Technical Education. This convention includes colleges from four zones Punjab, Chandigarh, HP, Jammu and Kashmir.

After flourishing successful four years from being started, MINERVA has bloomed very much leaving its aura on more than 250 institutions across the country. More than 1500 students from different regions of India have experienced the unparallel technical festivity every year. The fifth edition of techfest assures to be a great celebration of technology. Versatility as its trademark, MINERVA ’09 was a hoard of surprise for the participants awaited.
