National Institute of Technology, Silchar presents Incandescence 2010, the annual techno-cultural fest with all new fervor and enthusiasm.

Riding on the success of previous editions and christened Incandescence ReincarnateD – where serenity meets rejuvenation. This time it promises to be all the more thrilling and exciting with a serious unleashing of knowledge and fun.

Envisaging to become the biggest techno-cultural fest ever in North-Eastern India, it will bring
Tecnoesis-the Technical cynosure,
V’warz-the gaming event and
Sankriti-the cultural gurukul
under the same roof.

Incandescence 2010 is the biggest on-campus social festival of National Institute of Technology Silchar. Following the grand success of the four editions of this Techno-Cultural Fest – Incandescence – this edition has been planned to be taken to a higher echelon by initiating a totally new theme “PEACE-Where Serenity meets Rejuvenation”. Incandescence 2010 will spread the message of peace and harmony in its own humble way. This being a Techno-Cultural Fest, it’s going to have plethora of events divided into the technical, cultural and gaming sections: the Technical part culminating in the best of engineering minds and personalities continuing the race for technical excellence, the Cultural fraction ensuring a carnival of fun, entertainment and stardom and the gaming module providing a solid platform for the best gaming professionals and students alike to take a break and relax. In a nut shell Incandescence provides an excellent platform for the young and gifted minds to showcase their talents through various competitions and an opportunity for everyone to savour the cultural beguilement.

Hence, INCANDESCENCE::reincarnated 2010 is the only place to witness the extent to which spring can be rocked in North-East.
