Parivartan’09, the two day annual inter-college event of WLC College India (WLCI) Delhi campus recently drew hundreds of students from across the Colleges to its campus and enthralled them to the core.

The fest was launched on Saturday and attracted double the audience on the second day, owing to the innovative competitions designed by the Parivartan team. The most popular event of the fest was the dance competition, while the Fashion show and Antakshiri also attracted huge number of students.

One of the innovations at Parivartan’09 was the event titled; ‘Think on your Feet’ (stress interviews) which was organized keeping in mind the increasing stress levels in the cut throat corporate world. This activity aimed at checking students’ stress handling capacity & impulsiveness in answering the cuff questions. While the team from Venkateswara College emerged victorious in the debate competition & quiz wiz, it was the team from Dayal Singh College who proved its prowess and creativity in the street play on ‘Fake products’. The team from WLCI emerged as a winner in the fashion show competition with their trendy drapes and creative designs on the ramp.

WLCI’s Parivartan’09, a two day gala event was about youth, passion, creativity, music, dance and non-stop fun. A debate on the topic “Will Internet result in the death of Newspaper”, was very contemporary and had participants from varied backgrounds.

Events like ‘Art Galleria’, ‘Fashion Show’, ‘Dance competition’ ‘Photography’, ‘Antakshri’ and several others gave the students much needed break from their hectic study schedule and presented a fresh flavour of entertainment.

Few of the Colleges who participated in the event were from Sri Venkateswara College, Zakir Hussain College, ARSD, Bhagat Singh, IIPM, and SRM University among many others.
