It is a 5 day event in which over 80 colleges across Nagpur participate, and over 6000 students contribute to make it a great success.  This being the silver jubilee of the college, Pratishruti has been elevated to a grander level altogether.

Student quality from India is very high but there is always lingering doubt whether we are getting the best among these as the filters that we are using today, CAT, XAT, GD PI may be not enough to locate the students that we would need for making a Future B-school a worthwhile proposition. The systems that we are adopting today to gauge the progress of the student is outmoded and we needed drastic innovation and change in the faculty teaching and student outcome rubrics.

Global Entrepreneurship Summit, being our annual flagship event, is one of the biggest entrepreneurial platforms for academicians, new-age entrepreneurs, eminent business personalities, venture capitalists and the students to gather at one place and share their entrepreneurial endeavours and experiences, and to pledge to take entrepreneurship to greater scales.

Google – Online Marketing Challenge is back again, and it promises to live up to its expectations as in 2009 and 2008.

Developed by professors in collaboration with Google, the Challenge is a great opportunity for students to gain practical, real world online marketing experience. Students also get the excitement of competing on a global level, with the overall winners and their professor/lecturer receiving a trip to the Googleplex in Mountain View. In addition, regional winners and their professor will receive a trip to their local Google office

The Google Online Marketing Challenge is a great hands-on exercise for undergraduate or graduate students in classes such as advertising, ecommerce, integrated marketing communication, management information systems, marketing and new media technologies. The goal for students is effective online marketing via sound marketing analysis to optimize, manage and update a Google AdWords campaign.

Student teams receive US$200 of free online advertising with Google AdWords and then work with local businesses to devise effective online marketing campaigns. Teams outline a strategy, run a campaign, assess their results and provide the business with recommendations to further develop their online marketing. Teams submit their reports and are judged by a panel of independent academics from all over the world.
