GEC counterstrike I’m sure looking at the name you might be thinking this is just another counter strike competition. But it’s not what you’re thinking. At Torque, MESA brings to you counter strike in real life, where instead of bots, you will be running around the map along with your team. It will be played on similar basis as Counter-strike but with bullets and bombs replaced by water balloons and water guns. So get ready to get wet..!!! Participants are requested to carry additional clothing.

RoboWars Robowar is a sport which is quite similar to wrestling; only with robots. It is the war between two or more robots. Only difference is that the robots in robowar may use weapons such as axes, hammers, spinning weapons and flippers, just to name a few . Hence you need to design a robot, which is either a wireless remote controlled vehicle or a wire controlled vehicle powered by electric motors which is capable of defeating the opponent robot by destroying, pushing or throwing the robot out of the arena.

Line Follower Design and build autonomous line following robot that can traverse the given track in least possible time.

The workshops, which had previously seen a wide range of events from jive to time lapse photography  and many more…will now bring you, once again, the chance to dabble in a new artform or tap your feet to a new rhythm.

Watch out for Searock and the special nights. The biggest event and highlight of Waves every year, Searock goes national this year with elims being held at b’lore, pune, delhi and Goa!! It brings together bands from around the country, to a battle of strings and keys and notes, as ferocious as any other in history – Motive? Keep the audience hooked and headbanging you guys. The special nights have seen a sea of people cheering the war of DJ’s while doing the raindance, mesmerised by the voice of K.K and partying over the top with Indian ocean. Watch out for the DJ this year…the guy who toured with Metallica himself…DJ Siddharth!!
