Increasing energy demand, global climate change, and constrained energy supplies are likely to impact how energy affects our life in the future. Are we prepared aptly for the energy challenges that lie ahead? Without constant energy supplies the conceptualisation of this world would become beyond imagination.

The recent climate debate has put a severe constraint on our energy supply sources. With all the constraints imposed the forum for discussion on energy security has become eminent and its a high time when we come up with pragmatic solutions for our energy problems.

Therefore, this event is aimed at bringing together academicians and researchers in various disciplines to share knowledge and exchange views, for devising effective ways of attaining energy security .

In view of the above, the objectives of the conference are as follows.

• To understand the need of management of energy in the changing business scenario.

• To provide a forum for exchange of ideas regarding planning, optimization, integration and management of conventional and renewable energy technologies.
