Entrepreneurship is often the most difficult but also the most courageous and risk taking decision in an individual’s life. An efficient and practical Business plan leads an Entrepreneur to the path of success. We the members IEEE Student Branch, DA-IICT in collaboration with Center for Entrepreneurship and Incubation at DA-IICT (CEID) present B2B – the B Plan competition under its technical festival i.fest,2011, to provide a platform to the young minds with entrepreneurship bent to come up with an B-Plan and showcase their talent.

Event Structure -B2B Competition

B2B will be organised in two phases :

Phase I:

Submission of Executive Summary Executive Summary is considered to be the most important part of a Business Plan. It summarizes the business proposition, key financial projections, where the business stands at present and elements that are critical for success.

Phase II:

 Final Presentation of the B-Plan Top five teams selected by our judges would be called to DA-IICT to present their complete Business Plan in front of a panel of judges who would decide the winner based on various aspects of a running a successful business.

Technox Campus Ambassador Program

The Technox Campus Ambassador Program recognizes enthusiastic, hard-working and motivated individuals by giving them the opportunity to represent Technox on their campus. Ambassadors plan and host a few events during the school year, introduce students to new Technox Events or competition, and act as a campus contact for Technox teams

Prerequisites :-

• B.Tech/BE, M.Tech/ME, MS, BSC, MSC students are eligible
• Second to final year student.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Involvement in campus life (extracurricular activities, student organizations)
• Passion for learning, creativity, innovation and information-sharing.

Responsibilities TO HANDLE IN :-

• Ambassadors should be clear with the idea of Technox working, agenda and perspective.
• Ambassador should not do biasing with a student or a group of students.

About The Al Gore Sustainable Technology Venture Competition™ 2010

The Al Gore Sustainable Technology Venture Competition™ Asia’s first and most prestigious sustainable/clean technology business plan competition, founded in 2007, is the brainchild of Oopali Operajita, CEO, Cicero, A Trans National Advisory, a Senior Political and International Affairs Adviser to several of India’s prominent political leaders and a former Distinguished Faculty Fellow at Carnegie Mellon University, USA. Operajita was appointed at Carnegie Mellon by its legendary founder-president, President Richard Cyert, and she firmly established India and India studies there, as far back as 1989, bringing India’s ambassadors and leaders to visit campus for the first time. Operajita thought up an exclusive All India Sustainable Technology Venture Competition in honour of Vice President and Nobel laureate Al Gore. She named it for Al Gore, with encouragement from some of Al Gore’s colleagues from his White House days, and launched the First Al Gore Sustainable Technology Venture Competition in November 2007. Finalists were invited to make live presentations before an eminent judging panel on February 11-12, 2008, in New Delhi. The impetus and motivating force lay in Operajita’s wish to galvanize an entire generation of India’s formidable engineering, science, technology and management students — widely acknowledged as some of the brightest in the world — from its leading institutions, such as its legendary Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), National Institutes of Technology (NITs) and Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs), as she says, “into thinking sustainability, and incorporating it into their mindsets, and coming up with sustainable technology solutions, for the future of the imperilled planet.” Further, she states, “Indians are known as some of the world’s greatest innovators and entrepreneurs, and I wanted to tap into this incredibly rich resource pool with one stroke.”
