ASTRON is an annual function organized by Lala Lajpat Rai Institute of Engineering and Technology, Moga (Punjab) under students’ chapter of ISTE. ASTRON, a national level Techno Cultural Symposium has been organized year after year starting from 2001.

The program includes presentation, discussion of Technical papers, Project Exhibition and several Technical events for the students. The contemplated areas of discussion are enunciated in the themes given in the poster. The deliberation will centre on the theme “Innovation In Technical Education – Role of Students” with special emphasis on the sub themes like Curriculum development for industrial needs, Industry – Institute partnerships, Seamless engineering, Engineer as Entrepreneur, Education vs. Employment, Technical Education to meet global challenges.

We therefore request you to make as many students as possible from your institution to participate in the convention as well as contribute papers for presentation. The students are also requested to register for the events listed in the poster.
