CodeCracker is a fully automated online programming contest judge system designed and implemented by GLUG members of NIT Durgapur.The main drive and motivation behind this project is to inculcate the culture of programming among students, helping them understand the importance of algorithms as a problem solving tool, and making them recognise the power of GNU/Linux as a powerful programming platform.The judge is built using opensource technologies and tools. So come, code, challenge yourself… prove your intelligence and win recognition for yourself and your college.

Linux Users’ Group, NIT Durgapur was formed to popularize Linux and Open Source softwares beyond the silicon branches and to the masses in common. It triggers certification courses on Linux, Java and other technologies, along with seminars and tutorials. It organizes an annual national level technical symposium on Linux and FOSS called “MUKTI”, to provide a platform for students, nationwide, to share their knowledge and intellect.

We have been very influential in bringing many eminent personalities like Dr. Sumitabha Das, to name a few, on the platform of MUKTI to inspire students to join the Open Source bandwagon.

“CURA” is a Latin word signifying “thoughtfulness” & CURA’ 12 is poised to bring out the latent strategic mindset of the budding managers to sustain in today’s challenging new business scenario.

CURA’ 11 was the event conducted in the month of December, 2010, which motivated many corporate & students from the nooks & corners of the country. Stalwarts from premier B-schools like ISB, IIMs, XIMB, SIBM etc. & doyens from the industry such as the then CEO of GVK, EMRI graced the occasion by their scintillating presence & captivating lectures during CURA’ 11 & thereby triggered further momentum for the upcoming CURA’ 12.

Techniti is a techno-managerial student fest to be held at Dr. B. R. Ambedkar National Institute of Technology (NIT), Jalandhar in Punjab, India. TechNITi, the annual techno-managerial festival of NIT Jalandhar, has emerged as one of the region’s most sought after event. It saw the light of day in the year 2007 when our first determined steps were taken. TechNITi’s second coming in the fall of 2008 saw history being made with the NIT campus playing host to many eminent personalities from various stellar institutions of our nation such as ISRO, National Forensics institute and so on. As part of our commitment to technological innovation, they organized techNITi’09, a student fest consisting of competitions, seminars, symposiums, workshops and guest lectures.
