ABOUT BIOCHESS 2012:

Siddaganga Institute of Technology, Tumkur will conduct Biochess 2012, a national level technical fest which is to be held on May 2, 2012.

Biochess 2012 is the annual technical fest of Siddaganga Institute of Technology, Tumkur which is being conducted every year by the department of chemical engineering students.

Biochess main intention is to unearth the hidden talent within students. It also provides an excellent opportunity for industrialists and academicians to exchange their innovative ideas and to incorporate them into today’s academics.

ABOUT TECHNOTONICS 2012:

School of Computer Science (SCS) has been established in 2003 under the aegis of Delhi Kannada Education Society (DKES). It is a Premier Institute for Professional studies & we strongly believe in innovative and participative learning methodologies and constant improvements & commitment to academic quality. SCS is committed to providing students with high quality learning opportunities; building community and culture; and promoting their all-round development. It is honestly hoped that SCS will provide the learners a gateway for making a bright future. The institute is affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, a leading Delhi State University. At present, the institute offers a full-time 3 year Post Graduate Degree Program in Master of Computer Application (MCA).

TECHNOTONICS is an inter college IT festival being hosted by School of Computer Science with an aim to provide a platform to the students to express their latent talent with the finest strokes. TECHNOTONICS is our inter-collegiate festival. The festival is expected to be attended by students from colleges in and around Delhi. The festival is a forum for similar minds to interact, share and discuss the latest in the field of Computer Science & I.T.. AARUUSH has nine domains and each domain covers a specific field of engineering or management.

BLUEBOOK covers events relating to the fields of bioengineering, life sciences, biology and chemistry. Every event makes sure the participant gains practical knowledge and also tests the theoretical aspects of a wide range of topics.

FUNDAZ consists of events which deal with the fundamental notions of science, basics that one learns from grades 10 to 12 in school.

KONSTRUKTION puts together events where designing, fabricating and practically testing required models are focussed on. It entails the understanding of basic functioning of core engineering fields such as mechanical and civil.

MAGEFFICIE events test the business and managerial skills of the participant. Crisis aversion, management, corporate strategy building and business planning form the basics of this domain.

ONLINE events ensure participation of students on an international level. These events include games, puzzles, treasure hunt and other technical competitions.

PRAESENTATIO helps provide a platform for participants who are interested in paper or model presentations as well as exhibitions backed with substantial proof to showcase their knowledge in their field of interest.

ROBOGYAN consists of events that provide opportunities to innovate and create their own robots with unique specifications for each event. All types of manual, semi-autonomous and autonomous robotic events are accepted.

X-ZONE is entirely about non-technical events and participants can be sure of entertaining and mind racking experiences.

YUDDHAME aims at honing the software and hardware skills of the participants. More specifically: coding in various programming languages and platforms, web designing, integrated circuits, networking and communication techniques.
