“Callida 2012” The Department of Information Technology of Misrimal Navajee Munoth Jain Engineering College is proud to present the Version 9.0 of CALLIDA – A State Level Technical Symposium to be held on the 24th of February, 2012.

Callida 2012

“CALLIDA” means ‘Drill Your Skills’.It was started in the year 2003. CALLIDA ’06 version 5.0 was conducted at a National Level drawing more than 500 enthusiastic participants from more than 6 states. This year we plan to conduct it at a state level on the 24th of Feb with the same fervor. There are a variety of contests that test the design, coding and analytical ability latent in every individual. So buckle up and put your heads together to compete in the most awaited technical fete ever!!!

TECHNOVISION: Technovision 2012, the national level technical symposium organized by IEEE Student Branch, DTU is a scintillating arena where students are able to showcase their research in various fields such as IT, Electronics and Communication, Biotechnology etc .

INTRUSION: Intrusion is the online hacking event with several rounds to gauge a hacker’s “hacking quotient”. Participate and experience the fun in penetrating one blocked level to reach another.

SPAC : STUDENTS PROFESSIONAL AWARENESS CONFERENCE (SPAC), the closing event of TROIKA 2012, will see industry professionals from diverse backgrounds explore the subjects that affect the engineers’ careers.

BITS : BITS is an on-the-spot programming contest, challenging the spontaneity and promptness of the participants. Participants are required to solve a series of problems within an indicated time frame. So come armed with grit and wit to face some fierce competition!!

BYTES: BYTES is an online programming contest where the participants have 4 hours to solve the challenging problems (in C/C++) given to them.
They will be pitted against the contest script, specially designed to enable users from all across the globe to participate.

BOTS:BOTS the AI gaming challenge is back to floor you all! Face competitors like never before, with only your codes to your rescue. So program hard, play harder .
Dig deep into your mind, summon your intellect, reason and programming skills, and develop that perfect and infallible strategy to defeat your opponents!!

ETHER AVATAR: Troika 2012 brings to you Ether Avatar, the LAN Quizzing event worth dying for. With a plethora of fields to choose from, the participants are offered the opportunity to play the game on their own turf, succeeding in which, they enter the subsequent round.

Now a new legend is set to be made as a quest to reach Mount Olympus begins……….

Thou hast a chariot that sets on the path to the pearly heavenly gates. However be aware, as heaven is thy destination, as hell is thy journey. Awaken your senses and be ready to face the tests that the gods put you to.

Ares will play the cards first and set destruction and violence across your path. Face his wrath and you might just meet the queen Hera in her emotional distress. Along the journey Poseidon will set his trick and force you to go across his path of shaking twists. Inside the dark abyss, Hades dwells and welcomes you with open arms into his world of the dead. God of the gods Zeus fill play his role and test your Achilles’ heel. Artemis and her companions will hunt you down but if Apollo is on your side, success is thine. Will thy chariot prove thou art mighty or will this journey take its toll on thou?

Overcome all obstacles with your mechanical “chariot” and prove yourself worthy!!
