About The Event

TECH ZEPHYR is the annual Technical Extravaganza of LTCoE. Since 1995 the college had 5 different technical festivals one for each department. In the academic year 2006-07 all the Tech-Fests were combined together and it gave birth to TECH ZEPHYR. In 2007-08, we got TECH ZEPHYR service marked. TECH ZEPHYR is an intercollegiate technical festival which is recognized as a premier event of its kind in the youth Demographic.Over the years TECH ZEPHYR has established itself as the premier event of its kind on the youth circuit of Mumbai, a celebration featuring the technological advancements of the society of the rapidly developing world.With over 20 events, scheduled for 2 days the foot-falls for TECH ZEPHYR was more than 4000 and is expected to touch around 7000 foot-falls in TECH ZEPHYR 2010, it being a NATIONAL event.

Zero was one of the last numbers to gain universal acceptance by mathematicians.In today’s world, zero would be one of the more difficult numbers to live without, even though by its very nature it is difficult to say whether or not it is even a real number.Indeed, apart from such mathematical abnormalities as “imaginary” numbers and the like, it seems that the last number accepted universally by mathematicians is that magic number of zero.Aryabhata was the first in the line of great mathematician-astronomers from the classical age of Indian mathematics and Indian astronomy.Although ancient Babylonians were known to have used what is often called “place holders” to distinguish between numbers like 809 and 89, they were nothing more than blank spaces or at times two wedge shapes like”. The first notions of zero as a number and its uses have been found in ancient Mathematical treatise from India.Algebra, Trigonometry and Calculus came from India. Quadratic Equations were by Sridharacharya in the 11th Century.We Indians are the wealthiest among all ethnic groups in America , even faring better than the whites and the natives
