Accenture Placement Paper at MPSTME-NMiMS on 30th Jan 2010

Accenture recently visited Mukesh Patel institute of Technology Management and Engineering (NMIMS University). Company recruited 57 students.

Written Test:

The aptitude test contained 55 Questions to be solved in 55 Minutes.

The aptitude was on the simpler side. The aptitude was followed by an essay.

However, not much importance was given to the essay. Separate 10 minutes were given for the essay.

IBM visits NIT Durgapur

Date of visiting campus: 21st Dec 2009

Written Test:

The written test comprises three sections and all are of different time duration like

1st section consists of 10 questions on matrices.It doesn’t have any negative marking.13 minutes time was allotted to solve this section.

2nd second consist of 20 question on number series.It has negative marking also.The time durations was 4 min to solve the questions.

3rd sections consist of 10 questions on aptitude.It also have negative marking.The time durations was 10 minutes to solve this section.

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) Placement process at BV Pune on 22 Dec 2009

TCS visited Cummins College of Engineering for central placements. Other Participant colleges include BV Pune College of Engineering, BV Pune Women Engineering College and Pune Vidharthi Group. TCS recruited 22 students from BV Pune College of Engineering. The process followed by them was aptitude test followed by an interview. Test was conducted online and contains 3 sections; interviews were mainly focused on technical questions.

Placement Paper Pattern:

1) Verbal – 30 min – 40 questions
2) Aptitude – 40 min – 30 questions

1) Verbal

a)     2 big passages – 5 questions in each

b)     Fill in the blanks – around 5 (fitting correct option so as to form grammatically correct sentence)

c)     Sentence correction – Many questions (3-4 line passage is given, a line is underlined which is to be replaced by an option which makes the sentence correct)

d)     Reference from small paragraph – 5 questions (find out best theme or reference of …
